Everything we do at Peace of Thread is about the relationship with the women that work with us. We are always looking for ways to Empower, Employ, and Advocate for them and continue to give them hope. One way we do this is by welcoming students and providing them the opportunity to be a part of serving the women and their families. We also love educating students on where our Artisans are from and facts about their culture. Just like you have guests in your home, we look at each student who visits us to feel like a guest!
We have several opportunities for our guests to help us continue to move forward:
We ask for each Guest to Empower our women by designing their own small wallet, eyeglass case, or key fob while they are with us as well as designing one for our inventory. We at Peace don’t ever want this to be a place where we do a show and tell. We want our guests to come away changed and knowing that they have impacted the life of a beautiful Artisan Threader. Our products have cards with the Artisan’s name and includes a QR code that takes you to our website to learn more about our Artisans. The card is for you so that you can pray for the Artisans and their families.
Cost for the product: $25 for one product - small wallet, eyeglass or a key fob. *That price also includes our GA Sales tax.
Students will have the opportunity to hear from one of our Artisans. She will share some of her story about her journey of coming to the United States, and facts about her country and culture. And students will also be given the chance to ask questions.
**These opportunities can be done either at our training center in Clarkston, or we can travel to your school.**
